Menorca is one of the Balearic Islands, belonging to Spain and just off the East Coast. Menorca is the second biggest of the Balearic Islands, after Mallorca the largest. Many holiday resorts are on the South coast of Menorca with quiet sleepy fishing villages on the rugged Northern shores.
Whilst Mallorca is known for it's party atmosphere, Menorca is far more laid back making it an ideal destination for relaxing family holidays. Menorca boasts as many beaches as Mallorca and Ibiza (the smallest of the Balearic Islands) put together.
